These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mentor mobile application (“Mentor”, “the App”, “the Platform”), operated by Mentor. By using the Mentor application, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of the Service
Mentor is a platform that connects individuals seeking guidance (“mentees”) with experienced professionals (“mentors”).
The platform enables users to:
- Create profiles
- Connect with mentors
- Request consultations
- Exchange professional knowledge and experience
Mentor acts as a technology platform facilitating these connections. Mentor does not guarantee outcomes from mentorship sessions.
2. User Accounts
Users must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Mentor reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Mentor and Mentee Responsibility
Mentors and mentees are responsible for their own interactions. Mentor does not verify all claims made by users regarding their expertise or experience. Users are responsible for evaluating the suitability of mentors.
4. Payments and Transactions
Some services on the platform may require payment. Mentor may charge platform fees for certain transactions. Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. Mentor is not responsible for payment processing errors made by third-party providers.
5. Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to:
- Provide false information
- Misuse the platform
- Engage in harassment or abusive behavior
- Use the platform for illegal activities
Mentor reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Intellectual Property
All content related to the Mentor platform, including logos, branding, and design, is owned by Mentor. Users may not reproduce or distribute platform materials without permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
Mentor provides the platform “as is”. Mentor is not responsible for:
- Outcomes of mentorship sessions
- Advice provided by mentors
- Business or financial decisions made based on mentorship
Mentor is not responsible for professional, financial, legal, medical, or any other advice given by mentors through the platform. Users are solely responsible for evaluating and applying any advice received. Users are responsible for their own decisions and actions resulting from mentorship sessions.
8. Termination
Mentor reserves the right to terminate user accounts at any time if these Terms are violated. Users may delete their account at any time.
9. Changes to Terms
Mentor may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
